Board Meeting Minutes

President Marlene Young called the meeting to order at 11:30 AM.
Attendance: 16 Members
Adoption / Amendment of Agenda: Motion made by Charlene Donnelly , second by Mike Zieska to accept agenda. Motion carried
Approval of Previous Meeting Minutes:
Motion made by Jeff Burkhardt to approve minutes from the June 11th meeting, Don Nelson 2nd the motion. Motion carried
New Business in the Community: Gutter Helmet and Dingmann’s House of Travel.
Treasurer’s Report: Jeff Burkhardt gave the treasurer’s report. Steve Bergesch made a motion to accept report and Charlene Donnelly 2nd the motion.

8.f Queen’s Committee
We have three new Annandale Ambassadors who are already busy doing parades
and public appearances. Good turn-outs for all events.
8.g Fourth of July Committee
Overall a great 4th of July week-end. Thanks to all the volunteers, we couldn’t do
it without you. We had 9 school bands this year and the fireworks were the
greatest. Next year the 4th is on a Sunday.
8.h Arts and Crafts
Date is Saturday, August 9th. The inside craft area is almost full. New location
this year, it’s at the High School.
8.i Golf Tournament
Wednesday, July 30th, sign-up sheets are out, please return yours as soon as
possible. Let Marlene Young know if you want to sponsor a hole. 1 PM start for
the Golf Tournament, 5:30 PM Social and 6:30 PM Dinner Buffet.

9.0 Old Business:
a .Map Update: This project is on hold.
b. Kiosk: Project on hold until windows get fixed.
c. Culpepper & Merriweather Circus: Date is August 3rd. Advance tickets are on
sale, Adults are $7.00 and Children are $5.00
10. New Business:
Tax return is done. If anyone is interested in them they can stop in and see Jeff Burkhardt.
Camp Friendship is doing information tours for anyone who is interested in learning more about the camp. Tuesday mornings and Wednesday evenings. Call Camp Friendship for more information.
