President Marlene Young called the meeting to order at
Attendance: 15 Members
Adoption / Amendment of Agenda: Motion made by Mike Zieska, second by Charlene
Donnelly to accept agenda. Motion carried
Approval of Previous Meeting Minutes:
Motion made by Doug Kantor to approve minutes from the May 14th meeting, Charlene Donnelly 2nd the motion. Motion carried
New Business in the Community:
Treasurer’s Report: President Marlene Young reported that there had been no unexpected expense. Mike Zieska made a motion to accept report and Charlene Donnelly 2nd the motion.

8.e Chili Cook-Off
A great time was had by all, we had 231 participants voting for the best chili. The
2nd annual cook-off will be the Saturday of Memorial Week-end of 2004.
8.f Queen’s Committee
Everything is going great. A great time to meet the candidates will be on June 21st
for the Meet the Candidates Brunch. Royalty from the last 25 years will be
there and tell how the occasion affected their lifes. On Friday, June 27th the
Annandale Chamber of Commerce 4th of July Celebration Gala will be held at
Reichel’s
8.g Fourth of July Committee
Everything is on schedule.
8.h Arts and Crafts
Date is Saturday August 9th. Booth sign-up is ahead of last year.
8.i Golf Tournament
Wednesday,
July 30th, sign-up sheets will be out soon.
Tournament, 5:00 PM Social and 6 PM Dinner Buffet.

9.0 Old Business:
Map Update: Motion made by Don Nelson, 2nd by Doug Kantor to put the map on hold until a later date due to production problems.
Kiosk: The Boy Scout decided not to do the kiosk for his Eagle project. We are
still looking for suggestions for the East side of the kiosk.
Better Business Bureau: Motion was made by Charlene Donnelly to trade out
membership with the Better Business Bureau, Denise Mielke 2nd the motion.
Motion carried to be a member of the Better Business Bureau.
Fundraiser Art Project: Jeff Lundquist found Betty Anderson, a local artist. She
will look at the information and talk with Mark Casey and Jeff Lundquist about
doing this project.
4th of July: We discussed having a 4th of July booth. We have always had a
presence down at the park, but there was no interest to pursue it at this point. The
Chamber banner will be hung on the Queen’s clothing booth.
Emergency response drill will be Saturday, June 14th. All Chamber members are invited to observe. Invitations passed out.
. Functional Industry out of Buffalo requested to do a power point presentation in
the Fall.
Annandale Library Committee asked to use the ambassador scissors on the 5th of
July for their Open House. Motion made by Doug Kantor to let the committee
use the scissor, Jeff Lundquist 2nd the motion. Motion carried.
